Europe campus

Fontainebleau

The Business School for the World

The idyllic Europe campus nestles between a vast forest and the historic little French town of Fontainebleau, with modern architecture that blends harmoniously with the green and leafy surroundings. It’s the perfect place to think – beautiful and serene, yet less than an hour from the hustle, bustle and high culture of Paris.

In “Fonty”, as it’s fondly known, everything is within easy walking distance, including shops, bars, restaurants, hiking trails, parks, covered tennis courts, indoor swimming pool, celebrated open-air market, famous château and world-class rock climbing. And the campus has its own subsidised restaurant, gym, café-bar, bike-share scheme, bookshop and library.

The Doriot Library is fully equipped to support INSEAD faculty, visiting professors and PhD students with their research. Open 24/7, it provides access to over 10,000 printed and electronic journals, along with a comprehensive collection of books and e-books – everything you need for independent study.

A great privilege of being part of INSEAD is the fact that it’s an endless fountain of youth in terms of academic inspiration.

The campus is also ideally placed for research collaboration with the region’s renowned universities and ‘grandes écoles’, as well as INSEAD’s own Social Science Research Centre in Paris. This state-of-the-art behavioural lab offers unique facilities for research across all of our PhD areas of specialisation.
