INSEAD’s entrepreneurship research integrates insights from management fields like organization theory and strategy, alongside social sciences such as sociology, economics, and psychology. It explores the challenges and opportunities of building and scaling businesses as drivers of value creation.

Faculty in the Entrepreneurship and Family Enterprise area are globally recognized for their research excellence, with prolific publications in top academic journals and leadership roles in the academic community.

Who should apply?

Candidates come from various fields, including social sciences, sciences, management, and engineering. While prior research experience is beneficial, it is not required.

Current students have backgrounds in economics, business, finance, marketing, international business, and global politics, joining the programme from both undergraduate and graduate studies.
